Hey, it’s me, Alex…. I got to tell you about what happened the other morning….
I am sure you know already that my parents are very, selfish and lazy have an issue getting up on time. I don’t know what their problem is! I mean really…. How difficult is it for them to wake up at the perfect hour of 3:30 AM to feed me breakfast? Apparently, very…..
So, do my best to wake their sorry asses up help them rise and shine. I claw and scratch them with all my might gently shower them with attention to help wake them from their slumber. But, man it is hard work. And they are getting worse, not better. But fortunately for me they are trying to trick me to sleeping late by feeding me a midnight snack. Which I have no complaints about! Well, it could be bigger, and with more of the good stuff and not so much healthy, prescription food.
Well, after the battle of the budge (budging them out of bed that is) I finally got my breakfast. And it was delicious. As I ate, my mom was busy preparing lunches for her and my dad. Hey, why don’t I get lunch? Where can I file a complaint? My dad was doing his silly stretches.
When they both finished, they grabbed some coffee and both took their spots by their laptops. But my mom was doing it all wrong! She ignored the important email that she received. And she had Lasik… what help is that? How do I know? Well, I read their emails before they wake up of course. I want to make sure that I don’t miss out on anything. If there is a trip to the vet or something on the calendar I want to know about it first there is nothing there that would upset them in the morning….
My mom was oblivious to the precious email that waited for her in her inbox. I couldn’t handle the stress. I went over to the computer and nudged her. “MOM!” I screamed, but she just petted me and went back to her business updating her FaceBook status.
I wasn’t going to stand for this. No sir! I kept pushing her and nudging her. But, man is she stubborn! You would think that she thinks she has some say in what she does on her computer in the morning or something. Thankfully, her coffee cup was drained (she inhales that stuff in the morning) and went to the kitchen for a refill. I didn’t want to waste my chance so I used my paw to click over to the VERY IMPORTANT EMAIL that was in her inbox but it was really for ME.
She looked surprised when she found me sitting by the open email. But after one glance I think she got it… It was from Kelly at Mr. Chewy and they were sending ME a case of Natural Balance Original Ultra Formula Canned Cat Food. It was my LUCKY day!!
But the purrfect day came later when the food arrived… and let me just say “Yum, yum, and yum!” Mr. Chewy I love you!!!
